About Us

Restoring dignity through care and commitment
OUR JOURNEY

Where Compassion Found Its First Step

In 1989, Ms. Abhilasha Singhvi began a small yet powerful initiative driven by compassion and purpose. She started a rehabilitation camp in South Gujarat to support underprivileged individuals who had lost a limb. The idea was simple not only to provide prosthetic limbs, but to personally guide each individual as they learned to use them with confidence.

Over the years, this initiative grew into Manav Seva Sannidhi a trusted institution dedicated to rehabilitation and dignity. Today, camps are held across India in places such as Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, and Delhi. Each camp reflects a personal and caring approach, where every prosthesis and caliper is carefully fitted and patients receive hands-on training and support.

More than just medical assistance, these camps offer encouragement, companionship, and emotional strength. Thousands of individuals have returned home not only with renewed mobility, but also with confidence, self-respect, and belief in themselves.

OUR MISSION

Empowering Lives Through Rehabilitation

Manav Seva Sannidhi works to ease the physical, emotional, and economic challenges faced by individuals who have lost a limb. Our mission goes beyond providing prosthetic limbs to ensuring complete rehabilitation and long-term independence.

At our camps, prosthetic limbs and calipers are carefully fitted and followed by hands-on, one-on-one training. This personal approach, supported by trained volunteers and experts, helps individuals regain confidence and mobility.

The camps also create a strong sense of community, where patients, volunteers, and staff support one another through shared experiences. Through care, rehabilitation, and human connection, we empower individuals to return to life with dignity, confidence, and self-reliance.

" It has been a great pleasure and a spiritual upliftment to witness the atmosphere here. The sense of joy and oneness experienced here – the shared life in which Abhilasha is the centerpiece and moving spirit - is remarkable. A wonderful enterprise of which I am proud to be a part. "

" Abhilasha didi was their goddess, beautiful in who she is, down on all fours helping others stand tall. She was their inspiration. They often come crawling into her camp, some with help, others alone... a few days later they leave laughing, not just standing, but walking out through the gates they once crawled past. This is what Abhilasha didi does for them. And they never forget. "
